I am a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer with over 12 years of CrossFit experience and a 25-year career as a firefighter, where my training in physical fitness and functional movement translates directly to coaching.
My wife and I purchased Sandy Lake CrossFit in 2022, and since then, I’ve discovered a passion for coaching and helping athletes become more functional and capable in their everyday lives. Growing up, I played multiple sports, mainly hockey, and my well-rounded athleticism allows me to connect with athletes on lifting, gymnastics, and overall fitness. At 52, I’m proof that age is no excuse, and I’m dedicated to showing our members that CrossFit works for everyone.
Outside the gym, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Darla, and our three dogs, watching sports, cooking, and serving my community as a firefighter.
